Stewardship 2023
Dear Loyd Presbyterian Church Family,
“Great Is Thy Faithfulness” is the theme for our stewardship campaign at Loyd Presbyterian Church for 2023. As God has provided for His children through His unwavering faithfulness, so have the people of Loyd provided for the needs of our church during the challenging times we have experienced with the Covid pandemic, the departure of our pastor and the economic downturn. We truly appreciate your faithful support.
Now we look to a future bright with promise and potential. We anticipate the arrival of a new pastor in the coming church year. The revitalization of our music, Christian education, and nurture and outreach programs will follow under the leadership of our new pastor and renewed focus by us on doing God’s work here at Loyd.
To accomplish these forward steps will require increasing our budget. During the first three Sundays of November, we will emphasize the importance of financial commitments to the church’s programs and encourage financial commitments by all the families of Loyd. Please prayerfully consider making a pledge and do so with a thankful heart. As we move forward together as a church, there is no limit to what God can accomplish through the ministries of Loyd Presbyterian Church.
Pledge cards are being sent to all Loyd families and will be available at the church during those November services. There will also be a link in the weekly newsletter that you can use to make your pledge online.
To celebrate our stewardship campaign’s successful conclusion, we will have a catered luncheon at the church on Sunday, November 20 immediately following morning worship. Please plan to attend the service and the luncheon as we unite in joyful fellowship and optimistic anticipation of what lies ahead for our church.
In Christ,
