Loyd Presbyterian Church COVID-19 Task Force     August 2 Reopening of Sanctuary

Dear Loyd Presbyterian Church Family,
 
We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community very seriously. Like you, we're closely monitoring the quickly-developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
 
 
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 as we begin to meet in our sanctuary, we will be observing the following safety measures:
 
  • Masks will be required upon entering and leaving the sanctuary. They can be removed during service when social distancing guidelines are followed (6 feet distance between you and others who are not a member of your immediate family).

 

  • All Singing must be done while wearing a mask, with the exception of a soloist.
 
  • Some pews will be marked off for social distance.
 
  • We will be dismissed by sections. All visiting should be conducted out of church.

 

  • The side exits can be used as well as the main entrance.  Both rear doors will remain open.

  • There will be no ushers-all bulletins and offertory plates will be placed at entrance.

  • There will be no choir at this time.
 
  • There will be no children's services at this time.
 
  • Adult Sunday School classes are allowed to meet, as long as social distancing is observed (6 feet apart/masks).
 
  • Hand sanitizer and masks will be available at the entrance.
 
  • Worship Service is at 11:00 a.m.
 
  • On-line Worship will still be available.

Renting Spaces at LPC

 

  • Only LPC members are allowed to rent spaces owned by the church.
  • The usual fees for members apply.
  •  All social distancing requirements must be observed by limiting guest lists, maintaining 6ft. distance, and wearing masks.
  • No more than 30 people are allowed per event in Darden Hall.
  • No more than 40 people are allowed per event at the Pavilion.
